The exchange needed a first version of its lite trading product, a brand-new surface rather than an iteration on something that already existed, and a cohesive design system for a local team that had just been formed and had nothing to build from yet.
Solution
Canvas Labs Partners designed the first version of the regional lite trading product and contributed to its futures and options trading experience, giving the exchange a dedicated entry point for a market it was entering for the first time rather than a repackaged version of an existing product.
Canvas Labs Partners also established a cohesive design system for the local team, which had just been formed and had nothing to build from before, and mentored the broader design function as it grew. The lite trading product launched to a 77 percent increase in user engagement.
