Several national retail banks needed both consumer account-opening flows and internal employee-productivity tools modernized, and one had never made its financial documents accessible to visually impaired customers. Canvas Labs Partners led the UX work across both, and designed and launched the first Braille-format banking documents introduced in the market.

Challenge
Several banks needed both consumer-facing account-opening flows and internal employee-productivity tools modernized at the same time, across multiple national deployments. One of them had never made its financial documents accessible to visually impaired customers, who had no independent way to read their own banking records.
Solution
Canvas Labs Partners led UX for online account-opening flows and employee-productivity applications, built in React, across multiple national retail banks. The internal employee tools ran on SharePoint, and the same design discipline carried across both the consumer-facing and internal sides of the work.
For one of those banks, Canvas Labs Partners designed and launched the first Braille-format banking documents introduced in the market, built to accessibility (a11y) standards. Visually impaired customers can now read their own financial records independently, rather than relying on someone else to read the statement to them.
